92% of patients experience a positive outcome from knee arthritis with knee injection CINGAL.

At Mobile Pain Relief Teesside, we offer Cingal and Monovisc - two of the most advanced injection therapies available for arthritis. These treatments target the exact source of arthritis pain and stiffness inside the joint.

    • Trusted Worldwide: Over 3 million injections performed globally.

    • Quick & Simple: One injection, 15-minute appointment.

    • Minimal Risk: Among the safest injection treatments available.

    • Monovisc delivers 88mg of ultra-pure, cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA). It cushions the joint, improves

    • lubrication, and even encourages your body to produce more of its own HA — helping the benefits last longer.

    • Cingal combines Monovisc with a small, safe dose of steroid (triamcinolone hexacetonide). The steroid works fast to reduce inflammation and pain — often within 48 hours — while the HA delivers longer-term joint support.

    • The HA and Steriod have been specially formulated to work together for fast and longer lasting pain relief.

    • Sadly, due to national health guidelines, no hyaluronic acid injections are typically available within the NHS, however in certain circumstances, Monovisc and Cingal have been made available, which is testament to their success over many years.

    • Pain relief within 7 days for 89% of patients.

    • Effects that can last 6–12 months with 92% reporting pain relief at 6 months.

    • The average pain reduction, scored by arthritis sufferers was 72% in an in-depth independent study, where the

    • patient were not told which treatment they were given.

    • Cingal is also very safe, with only 2% of patient experiencing mild injection site irritation and some swelling, but

    • no major adverse events were reported.

    • Regain your freedom to be active again

    • Whether you’re newly diagnosed or managing ongoing symptoms, Mobile Joint Relief, led by expert practitioner Nick Clark will assess your joint and guide you to the best option.

Our Services

Monovisc Steroid Injection

£350.00

Monovisc is a high-dose hyaluronic acid (HA) injection designed to support joint function and reduce pain in osteoarthritis. It is used as a single intra-articular injection and is designed for clinics that want a straightforward, evidence-based viscosupplement option with a strong clinical heritage.

Licensed extensively proven for use in the Ankle, Knee, Hip and Shoulder joints, Monovisc naturally occurring range of molecular weights ensures optimum lubrication, cushioning and endogenous HA stimulation.

Each pre-filled syringe contains 4ml, delivering 88mg of ultra-pure hyaluronan.

Monovisc is:

  • Non-animal derived (fermentation sourced)

  • Lightly / partially cross-linked for molecular stability and intra-articular longevity

  • Designed to be biocompatible and resorbable

  • Proven to produce an incredibly low risk of adverse events and flares

Cingal Steroid Injection

£450.00

Designed for patients with symptomatic, inflamed osteoarthritis of the knee, who need both rapid pain relief and longer-term joint support. It combines a high-dose hyaluronic acid with a carefully selected corticosteroid in a single, stable formulation, created specifically to address a common and challenging clinical presentation.

A hybrid formulation, engineered – not improvised.

  • High-dose hyaluronic acid (88 mg) with a naturally optimised molecular weight profile designed to support synovial health, lubrication, and joint mechanics.

  • Triamcinolone hexacetonide (18 mg) — a longer-acting, intra-articular steroid chosen for its targeted anti-inflammatory effect and favourable safety profile within joints.

Orthovisc Steroid Injection

£250.00

Orthovisc is a well‑established hyaluronic acid (HA) injection with one of the longest clinical heritages in viscosupplementation. It is recognised for its safety, consistency, and predictable performance.

While Orthovisc is historically known for multi‑injection knee protocols, current clinical practice has evolved. Today, Orthovisc and Orthovisc T are commonly positioned as versatile HA options for smaller joints and extremity applications, where control, familiarity, and repeatability matter.

Orthovisc is a non‑crosslinked, high‑purity hyaluronic acid derived through bacterial fermentation. Its formulation delivers a naturally optimised molecular weight profile designed to support joint lubrication and synovial function.

Key characteristics include:

  • Non‑animal derived HA

  • Non‑crosslinked structure

  • High biocompatibility within the joint environment

  • Predictable handling and injection characteristics

Orthovisc T offers the same core HA formulation but targets tendinopathies, like tennis elbow. Both Orthovisc and Orthovisc T deliver 30mg of hyaluronan in a 2ml preparation.

  • We estimate that the appointment will take around 30 minutes. The injection itself is very quick, however time is allocated initially to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. We will also need to go through a pre-injection safety checklist and obtained a signed consent form from you.

Following the injection, it is best practice to stay with you and monitor you for any adverse reactions (extremely rare) for a 10-15 minute period. During this time we can further discuss any other concerns you may be having, exercises that may help to facilitate your function and education around the condition that may help you to better manage.
